Our pinnacle set. 144 hand-carved tiles, ox-bone face bonded to bamboo back -- the way mahjong tiles were built before the 1950s, when the move to plastic took most of the warmth out of the category. The carving is done by hand, so no two tiles are mathematically identical, and the bone develops a deeper patina over decades of play.
Housed in a finished hardwood box with sliding lid, dice, betting sticks, and a rules booklet covering Chinese, Hong Kong, and a note on Riichi-adjacent variants.
